Volunteers are an important part of the school community. Jackson County Public Schools promotes and encourages the help of volunteers in order to expand and enhance parental and community involvement in our schools while continuing to maintain a high level of safety and security.

- Contact the school for which you would like to volunteer and make them aware of your interest.
- Review the "Staff-Student Relations" policy.
- See the "Volunteer Procedures" document and follow the instructions to register as a school volunteer.
- Select the "Volunteer Tracker" button to register so we may initiate your background check.

Background checks are valid for one year after the date they are approved. After one year, you must request another background check to continue volunteering.
