The Jackson County Public Schools Finance Department is responsible for managing the fiscal affairs of the school system, ensuring valid disclosure of receipts and disbursements, and making sound investments of cash balances. The finance officer interprets and follows regulations prescribed by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, the Federal Government, Local Government Commission, various other grantors, and the Jackson County Board of Education.
