Comfort Closet

In a compassionate effort to ensure that all students have access to basic needs, each of our nine schools will be equipped with a free store known as the "Comfort Closet." Students will have the opportunity to visit the "Comfort Closet" with the assistance of their school social worker or counselor. The goal is to provide students with items that may not be available to them outside of school, remove the burden of fitting in, and promote a culture of giving in our community and among our students.

Each "Comfort Closet" will be stocked solely with donated items and completely funded by contributions. 100% of all donations will benefit this project. Individuals, churches, businesses, and organizations are encouraged to participate by providing the following approved items:

Hygiene

  • Shampoo

  • Lice-Killing Shampoo
  • Deodorant
  • Bath Soap
  • Toothbrushes
  • Toothpaste
  • Hairbrushes
  • Combs
  • Mouthwash
  • Pocket-Sized Tissues
  • Toilet Paper
  • Flushable Wipes
  • Feminine Products

Clothing & Related

  • Socks
  • Underwear
  • New Clothing and Shoes
  • Laundry Detergent
  • Dryer Sheets

Snacks & Miscellaneous

  • Individually Pre-Packaged Snacks
