School Based Health Center

The School Based Health Center is a partnership between Jackson County Public Schools and Blue Ridge Health in Hendersonville.  Services such as acute care, basic lab testing, prescriptions, and sports physicals are available.  Sites are currently available at Smoky Mountain High School and Fairview School.  For more information, call (828) 233-1685.

CHECKS WRITTEN WITH NON-SUFFICIENT FUNDS
Any check that is written to a JCPS entity and is subsequently declined due to non-sufficient funds (NSF) will be referred to CheckRedi Payment Services.

Q. What happens if I write a NSF check?
A. Individual(s) need to contact CheckRedi. The school cannot accept payment for the NSF check.

Q. What happens if I write two NSF checks?
A. Individual(s) need to contact CheckRedi. Jackson County Schools NSF Procedure states:
No checks will be accepted from an individual who has previously written two (2) checks that have been returned unpaid during the school year. This restriction will last for the remainder of the school year.

Q. What happens if Jackson County Schools will no longer accept checks from me? What other payment options do I have?
A. Cash, Lunch prepay.
